my name is Tayzsar and I will be talking to you about facts that are about the 2021 Olympics and the 1900's Olympics. Ever since T3 started, Te Waka Ako has been working on the Olympics and learning new facts about the ''2021 TOKYO OLYMPICS'' and why they had cancellations around the world?  

1:The 2020 Olympics didn't go on because of Covid 19, so where doing it again in Tokyo but know one will show up but you get to watch them live on your tv or on a camera. 

2:The 1914 Olympics were going to continue but then Germany and Austria-Hungary started WWI. 

3:The 1920 Olympics was stopped because Antwerp had alot of people suffering during WWII.

4:The first Olympics were held in Olympia in 1379BC and the athletes had to compete naked and women weren't allowed to watch.

5: Sid you know that the Olympic medals are made from electronic waste.

6:Somone made a pipe bomb in a knapsack that exploded in a crowd of spectators.

7:A group of Palestinian terrorists storms the Olympic Village apartment of the Israeli athletes, killing two and taking nine others hostage.

8:When we were working on the Olympics we got to pick witch famous athlete we won'ted but i chose 2 athletes witch were Diego Maradona and Camiele Prevost

Matariki DLO

What's up blogger's, this week we have been doing a 'Matariki DLO (digital learning object)' for Matariki. The reason why we had a Matariki DLO is to talk about the Future and Past and also talk about the people that have past and to take some time to sing about the Ancestor's. For our DLO we had to create a Google drawing about facts but it couldn't just be facts on a page it has to be about what to do to celebrate Matariki. Last week on Friday my class was split into groups and my group go to make 'Stuffed Kumara', kumara is a yummy vegetable that I got to try.  The activity that I did after the Kumara is that we tried to make stars out of cardboard and wool.

Reading About Cultural Games!

Kia Ora Blogger's! What I did for Cultural Games is that I did a Comprehension Questions,  Comprehension Questions are these question's where you have to read a book or a PDF about  story and you have to find the answers from the book. I like reading because I learn knew things and knew facts.

The game's that I've played at school were Japanese and Russian games, but my favourite game is probably Caber Toss and Japanese games. The reason why we played these games is to learn other peoples cultures and the way they do it. The other reason why I liked  Caber Toss is because I was confident to try beat Frank's score, but one time I flipped it and it just stood there but I thought it was going to beat franks score but it didn't but at least I gave it a try.

Instructions from my favourite game: Caber Toss!

1: Need 1 Caber toss(a big Bamboo stick)

2: then you need to chuck it up spin the Bamboo stick 12%clock wise and make sure you land it facing straight.

3: the next one is that you have to land it as straight as you can but you have to flip is 1 time for each bamboo stick.

4: when you win you get a big trophy but that's in Scotland not in New Zealand.

I really hope you guys try these games and I also hope you guys win a school trophy.

STEM week Waikowhai student led toolkit

 Student led ToolKit

What's up bloggers my name is Tayzsar. Last week, all the seniors and middles got to do student led toolkits, here are the 3 toolkit I did.

Sphero's!

 Sphero's was my first session in toolkits. The presenters showed me what a sphero is. It is a tiny ball where you can actually control it with your phone, tablet, laptop or Chromebook and the keys that you have to use to move it is WSAD or your mouse pad. I got to control one my self and it was so funny because it kept crashing into me. But the plastic around the ball was ground proof and it couldn't break on the concrete.

Book creator!

 Book Creator is where you get to make books on your Chromebook. You can add on a new page and there are also panels that can make your book look like a comic book. There are so many ways to make a book or a comic book. I created 3 comics in 1 book, 2 Anime one's. I was working on my comics for 2 days.

Incredibox! Incredibox!: For this toolkit I got to do Incredibox!, Incredibox is where you get to make the characters beat box. and the thing that you have to do in Incredibox is drag the icons on to the characters for them to make a beat box. There are 8 options that you can pick from but the 4 at the bottom are locked. But sunrise is pretty cool. In Incredibox I made so many beats.

How I felt about the Toolkits!

I really hope I can do toolkits every term or every year and when I went to incredibox I wanted to do that mostly because that was my favourite toolkit and the book creator was kinda fun. Here are some pictures down below.

Last week on Friday it was Pink Shirt day, Pink Shirt day is a day where our whole school has to wear a pink shirt but if you don't have anything pink u just wear your nor, a pink hat or a pink shorts or a pink pants. I wore a pink reddish pants. It was cool because the picture the drone took was ''Amazing'' because we all sat down together and we made a shape of a t-shirt, it was all pink. 

When we were making a shape of a t-shirt, I was on the side, making the arm sleeve, we were all wearing pink because it anti bullying week and that's the day were you have to stop bullying and care for each other. We even got to color in mini t-shirts and we could color it in with any color.

Slip & Slide

Hi my name is Tayzsar. Yesterday we splited into 2 groups, One went into the pool and the other group went to the slippery slide. I was in the first group, In the first group we first started swimming by having free time then we had to go teams one on the left side and some on the right side. We had to find little rings and take them back to your team and then the next person goes. After we swam we switched to the slippery slide, I slided down but there was soft mattresses at the bottom so we don't get hurt. Where going to do it again on the last day of school. Maybe you guys shouled do it at your school.

Swimming at cameron pools

 Swimming at Cameron Pools

Sup bloggers my name is Tayzsar and I go to Waikowhai Primary School. This Term my class have been going to Cameron pools every Tuesday and Thursday for lessons and my instructor's name was Chrasy. Some how when I go into the pool it feels cold then when I get use to it, it turns warm. The first lesson I do is stream lining half way of the pool with a board. Then the next one was when we had to lie on our back and stream line backwards. Than we had to try swim without the board and me and my class did great. When I was riding the bus to Cameron Pools I nearly fell asleep because it felt smooth like I was in mid air. Sometimes we have different instructors on Thursdays and Tuesdays, our other instructor's name is Juliet.
